More new on the incident...seems a bit more serious than a simple taxiing accident
One F-16 landed long, causing him to lock his brakes, which resulted in a brake fire. The second F-16 crashed into the back of the first F-16, causing the first F-16 to spin around, pinning the canopy and pilot underneath the wing of the second F-16. The brake fire on the first F-16 soon spread to the external fuel tanks on both F-16's. The pilot of the second F-16 managed to free himself and escape the fire, while Nellis AFB EMS managed to quickly put out the fire and extract the first pilot.
Officially, the USAF is saying that one of the pilots remains in hospital as a result of the injuries sustained in the accident (as of August 20th). But otherwise, official details are fairly sparse.
reports that the airframes involved are 85-1546 and 85-1549.

85-1546 was a former Ramstein bird and was at RIAT in 1991. 85-1549 has seemingly no European history having started life in Misawa, Japan.
