The wrong sort of Cumulus and not much of it, that was the main problem on Saturday and only the Nationals got going at 14.55 with the two regional classes scrubbed which must have been frustrating for the competitors but I guess they are used to it.
I don't remember which type of Cumulus it was described as, but Nano or Pico may be accurate because they were small and squat and didn't carry any lift.
Anyway the good bit of the day was that I did get on a buggy tour of the grid, and very enjoyable it was too.
The Vulcan went south towards Shoreham to the west of Lasham at 13.48
A Helimed EC135 went west to the south of Lasham at 14.02. It was Red on top, Yellow below with Green top to Tail G-WMAS?? or G-KRNW?? not sure what's operating at the moment in Hants and Wilts. Maybe Buster knows, the helicopter must have gone practically over his house
Regards
John
