They had a fleet of approx 20 Falcon 20's in the mid seventies before they expanded.I recall being at La Guardia and seeing a Falcon 20 arrive and because FedEx at that time were a small company it was regarded as being one of the highlights of the day.

I graphed N8FE back in 85 when she was in the NASM in downtown Washington, then again in the gloom at the Silver Hill store a few years later. She is now back on display at the Udar-Hazy NASM collection at Dulles. When FedEx were considering expanding into Europe back in the 70s they came to see me at CAA & presented me with a wooden foot long model of one of their Falcons. Treasured possession still.
