I suppose this belongs under the museums thread anyway back then they didnt seem to want to fit as many seats as they could into the available space ! Virgin of course still have a 3 seat bar for upper class (on every aircraft they operate) not sure if any other airlines still keep hold of this ethos.....oh and what a tune on the video

We used to refer to the 'original' Northwest B747-100 & 200 interior colour's as "Autumn in Cambodia".... So it's reassuring to see that nearly every other carrier had similar 'coordination failures' at the same time....
