Take it away chaps. Looking at the stats for this particular feature, they have dropped away quite a bit over the past few months. Maybe some members who used to post don't any more, or maybe they think that the rest of us aren't interested in what they've seen? We love to read about what members have seen, so please, don't think that your daily log isn't of any interest because it is. I appreciate that this section is more about what you've seen from home as opposed to what you've seen on a visit to a field or airport, and with shortening hours of daylight, there might not be so much to report back, but keep them coming please chaps, they are all read, and they are very appreciated. Thanks.

Dont forget to look for the Lightening on base ZZ, it took me by surprise when I flew into Warton last year as I assumed it would be on the gate !!

Cheers Jeff- seen the Lightning many times over the years. My last tour there was August 2014, looking forward to seeing what's new there. Unfortunately not allowed to post logs! Should also fit in Blackpool, Liverpool and maybe a few other places that I've not been to this year.
Dubai will be great Trevor. Would love to go there in the near future!
Will try and post my recent Asia trip logs soon.

Nothing special planned for November, just spotting from home. Thick fog this morning clearing very slowly, two to look out for on LHR departure if it clears further are VQ-BQE 777 of Aeroflot on the SU2579 replacing the usual A330, and HS-TKN 777 on the TG917.

The fog that was supposed to lift is still here and shows little sign of burning off. Nothing much of interest on the radar anyway.

Up in Notts for the weekend. At about 11am the fog burned off and it's been an absolutely gorgeous day! Allowed me to see a few overflights. Not sure if I needed any, but possibly- A7-ACA A7-BAA D-ABYQ TC-JHT TC-JSN
Took the kids to an amusement park near Farnsfield. It still has a resident Hurricane replica "V7467". They used to have a Lightning too, but that moved on several years ago!
EDIT- only needed A7-BAA from that lot!

Been a lovely day over in Hamburg, supposed to be here 3 weeks now starting week 5. 7T-VPP A340-541 was a nice arrival this morning viewed from my hotel room. Unfortunately due to having to sit in front of the laptop receiving end of month reports from around the world could not get out to the airport. Did manage a few via SBS VP-BTI A320 N123CZ CJ3 P4-OAS A321 LN-DYE B737 D-ABCQ A321

LHR and LGW seem to be suffering from heavy fog, as does Farnborough looking out of window ! LHR are operating at reduced arrival spacings so Im guessing there will be diversions.....not sure what the weather is like up North but keep em peeled if you reside North of London

Well, made four yesterday so not bad considering the fog which did eventually lift
SE-RDP A321 trailing southbound P4-KAZ B737 BBJ inbound FAB I believe F-GRXA A319 trailing southbound VQ-BWW B744 trailing eastbound

Can't believe that one has just gone in the book in the form of A6-EFI B77f UAE9998 KORD-EBBR. And if the fog gods are kind AMX7 N782AM will be the 2nd. And they were..

Gorgeous here Bob, wall to wall blue. Lucky you Graham,I suppose we suffer here due to the radiation leaks from the AWE,two days into November and still struggling to see the end of the street.

Another completely blank day, fog declined to clear. EI-DAA A330 of Aer Lingus has just gone overhead outbound LHR but well above the smog, don't expect to see N782AM on AMX8 due out 22.30. Forecast for the rest of the week is not much better.

As expected, no view of N782AM of Aeromexico on departure (23.10). The latest Turkish A321 TC-STD landed a few minutes ago (first visit?) leaves early in the morning but I won't be getting up for it as more fog is forecast.

Have just broken my duck for the month, with HS-TKP just below the cloud on LHR 09 approach, but would prefer to see them "properly", have 6 Thai 777s since they started with the winter timetable, but all strobes only, likely to stay that way unless I actually venture to the 'Row one evening!

Put out an entry on the LAASi site yesterday telling them about our forum with the log in details and I don't know if it was due to the latter but since there has been five new members signed up. Happy Days Bob Well done Bob... The more the merrier - many hands make light work.... Cheers. Bill
