When I was in Dubai a biz took off over my head with no reg under the wing. On inspecting my photo I could see that the reg on the tail ended in RD, the previous digit was either an S or 5. I assume it was American as I couldn't find a German ending in SRD. I'm not very good at identifying biz and I have an underside view which doesn't help but I think it could be a 125 type perhaps. I know it's not a lot to go on but I'm open to offers?

Hi Keith
Might it be worth checking the 125 production lists? Other than that, it could be a very long trawl through LAAS Corporate Jets, any chance you could post the photo?

Keith
Have been through my bizjet spreadsheet for frames curently ending 5RD. not much luck I'm afraid, C.500 c/n 75 N575RD shown as at a scrapyard in Bates City, C.550 c/n 399 N165RD currently active, C.560 c/n 106 N525RD currently active and a couple of Sabres which are both stored at Fort Lauderdale.Take your pick!

Keith
Just realised I only searched for 6-character regs. Have now done a further search, there are no current 5-character regs ending 5RD, and the only 4-characters reg is Gulf 4 c/n 1156 N5RD. Sorry, unlikely to be your bird!

Pictures of N5RD on Google Images show it to have have a black belly so that was definitely not your plane! Sorry not to have been more positive.

I would suggest that it is in fact HZ-KSRD. Photos of this aircraft seem to back this up.
