So on Tuesday, 27 October, 2015, we arrived at Chicago O Hare after our two and a half hour flight from Boston.
Having landed we had a 25 minute taxi to our stand in Terminal 3 (AA terminal) but not before passing Air Force One surrounded by masses of security on a remote stand.
Whilst taxying (spelling?) and parking up the following where logged.

Now it appears that there are two Air Force One,s. If anyone can assist in identifying which one was at O Hare on 27th Oct it would be appreciated
We stayed in the city for two rainy days before catching the train to Milwaukee
Whilst in Milwaukee, on Sunday 1st November at around 7 am I thought I would visit the local airport commonly known as General Mitchell Airport (MKE) and spend a couple of hours here.
It's located off the I-94 Highway which runs down to Chicago.
I was surprised to find that MKE is spotter friendly and off the perimeter road at East Layton Avenue there is a free car park over looking the field. Signs on the fence tell you to tune into frequency 88.5 (I think). Here you can listen to the approach and tower.
The only unfortunate thing was that the aircraft where departing and landing from runway 25R, this being the far side of the field and not 19R which is where the viewing area is located. There were a few locals, even at this early hour.
Apparently you can also view from the multi storey car park by the terminal for $2 an hour. (First 30 minutes free). However when I was there it was only open on two lower levels. No clear views.
I managed to drive around the perimeter roads and found a few scrapped and stored machines.
Off South Howell avenue are a number of shorts SD330,s that are either stored or being repaired, along with an engineless all white 727. (I later found this to be an ex FedEx machine, which I think from googling is N498FE)
The SD3-30s included N336MV N2679U N330AC and another that went un read.
There were also stored aircraft in a car park off East College Avenue these included Sabre liners 62-4475 and 62-4477 (This had a false reg of N269Y) and another cut up SD330 N360RW. A couple of lights stored in here as well.
A few yards further along East College Avenue was a Phantom mounted on a pole on the entrance to an industrial estate. This had the registration 63-7704
Two or three KC135 refuelling aircraft off South Pennsylvania Avenue went unread positioned outside a USAF area.
That aside traffic was slow (I suppose it was early Sunday) and dotted among the SouthWest, Delta etc. where the following:-
N190VP Ce525B
N327QS Phenom 300
N353PC Challenger 300
N385FE DC10 Fed Ex
N399CZ Beech 99
N402CZ Ce402
N688XA 737 Xtra Airways
N793KK Ce680
N799CZ Beech 99
Not the busiest of places, but somewhere worth visiting if your in the area.
After I left here I took the I-94 back towards Madison and popped into Waukesha County airport (UES). This houses a few biz and whilst here copped among the lights
