TransAsia ATR-72 crashes into a river after hitting bridge in Taipei only been airborne 3 minutes and appears to have suffered engine failure. 58 on board. Incredible footage of crash here.

Looks like the tailplane (horizontal stabiliser) hits the top of a building then the wing clips a car/van/bus. Terry

News reports say 23 out of 58 on board were killed. How the other 35 survived is miraculous.

looks very much as though the left hand engine wasn,t running properly and appears to have gone into a stall whilst trying to correct regards bob

The FR24 replay is well worth looking at pilot must have known his fate and went for the river FR24 link zoom in to Tapei ATC replay is a mayday with engine flame out

Wasnt that due to faulty wiring in the cockpit telling the pilots the wrong engine had failed ?
