I recall posting these photos on the "other" site some time ago and make no apologies for doing so again. This time of year always brings back the memories. For those who perhaps didn't see them before this was a trip I made to Rovaniemi in Finish Lapland in 1995 as travelling dispatcher and general dogs body. The flight was organised by the BBC for a Noel Edmonds Christmas Show taking a lot of less privileged youngsters to see Father Christmas in Lapland. The aircraft was B777 G-ZZZC which was BAs first 777 and was quite new at the time and in fact would be the first 777 to land in Scandanavia. It was minus 24 when we landed and disembarked the kids for their day out and by the time they were back and it was dark again it was approaching minus 40 when we deiced and departed. A thoroughly enjoyable day for all. Merry Christmas everyone Tony

Lovely shots Tony, the last one is especially atmospheric and what a great thing to do for the kids.
