I love these old shots from the days when airlines had their own ground handling, nowadays your more likely to get a white transit van with a small sticker on it ! Im sure this photo wasnt taken in Australia due mainly to the fact that there is frost or light snow on the ground. Possibly LHR but quess we will never know

I think the aircraft in the background is a Super Constellation (it has tip tanks) and the livery looks like Air France. Location possibly JFK/Idlewild?

Its a Trans Canada Airlines Connie, so my guess is Heathrow early 60s.

Hi Jerry. Its certainly not superior knowledge, but simply old age. I was around when Trans Canada came here with their Connies!
