My first trip out for 2016 was for an evening meal with a group of Lincolnshire based flyers. The plan was to meet up in the morning at Wickenby where over a dozen had flown in. After breakfast and coffee we had a quick brief about an air 2 air sortie that one of them had arranged. After the photo shoot at Wickenby, it was decided that we would all fly out to Nottingham Tollerton. I jumped into G-BYSI PZL-Okecie PZL-110 Koliber 160A with Dawn Evans for the trip. here's a shot of me and Dawn over the Lincolnshire Bomber Command Memorial, photo by Graham Robson in Cessna 120 G-AJJS a closer shot and a shot of G-AJJS from G-BYSI The weather was a bit too murky for air to ground shots, which is a shame as we flew over the following airfields, RAF Fiskerton (disused), South Hykeham (private strip), RAF Swinderby, RAF Winthorpe (Newark Air Museum), RAF Syerston (disused), RAF Newton (disused) then into Tollerton After some coffee and cake, I returned to Wickenby with Graham Robson in his Cessna 120 G-AJJS
