Chateau d'Oex 01/2009 log and Many Photos!

A friend and I had a 4 day trip to Switzerland in 2009, with the main intention of spending our second and third days at Chateau d'Oex. The weather wasn't good enough on day 2, so we spent our time at various airfields and museums (which I'll post on the Days Gone thread at some point.) Day 3 was fantastic though, especially when the sun got up above the mountains...

ZZ I flew there in 2013 when the WX is right its a great place to fly, when its not is just really expensive!!

I have always wanted to take part in the David Niven cup, the long distance challenge, just need to persuade Ultramagic to lend me an Eco Balloon. They took of from Chax and landed in San Marino!

Hoping to take out project balloon there in 2015
