Nice pic!
In the last ten years or so, I've found Cumbernauld very unfriendly towards spotters, and one occasion fairly abusive. I don't tend to bother asking to look round there anymore - if I call past I just see what I can see from outside.
Do you know if they are still so unwelcoming, Les?
I remember back in the 90s, getting round a couple of times, no problems...!

ZZ I have always believed they do not like spotters. I tend just to look at what can be seen from the cafe. However, this time my wife and I stopped with the intentions of having a meal before driving the last 300 miles home. Cafe was SHUT for refurbishment. Les PS. Have you seen my other Scottish reports from 11 Feb to 16 Feb?

Bob It was blooming cold but the only airfield was Aboyne where nothing logged. The car is absolutely filthy now. We did have a good six days away. Les

Bob Our original intentions for our trip home was Leuchars ( cancelled to to roadworks and detours ),Edinburgh (cancelled due to overturned car on motorway near airport causing serious delays ). Therefore we also missed out on other sites ( Kembuck, Bonnybank, Glenrothes, Portmoak, Balado, Kirknewton, West Calder and Moffat. We will visit them on our way up next time. Les
