Gents, thanks to Jeff's sterling work behind the scenes here, we now pretty much have the place how we want it to look. We thought it would be good to change the banner shot once every few days and that it would be great to use photos posted here on the site by members. We wouldn't of course just "assume" that that would be OK to everyone so basically, all we're aking if anyone would object if we were to use their shots to illustrate the forum banner? Thank you

What is the sizing for potential banner shots? Happy to prepare a few for such use if I catch anything of interest. Assuming I can work out how to post them in the first place.

Hi Graham, we have placed a guide to uploading photos towards the bottom of the forum but so far, it's only for Flickr users. We could do with some Photobucket users and some who use other storage sites to tell us "how to do it". Jeff is the photo guru here so I'm sure he can tell you the optimum size for the banner shots.

I don't think we have an optimum size, we tried a few, the Janet 737 was quite small in the pic which allowed the full aircraft to be displayed, if you have a full frame photo don't expect it all to appear !! Then there the 'aviation for All' title, we don't have much say on where to put that either  anyway I'm sure we can put something up there :-) |

Morning all,
Just a quick one, with summer now upon us the amount of photos being posted has increased dramatically...and a big thank you to you all for that, so can I ask that when posting a post with photos in it can you add (with photos) or similar, at the end of post title. Obviously I do try and look at every post on the forum and some with photos in them are easy to spot without opening them but im sure I may be missing some gems that are posted :-)
