Hi Phil,
Are the two Coast Guard choppers based at Newquay?
We have some American friends coming over this summer which may result in a week in Cornwall... So just making some plans of places to visit (for me)!!!!
Great photos mate. Keep 'em coming...

Both Coastgaurds are based at Newquay but only one is out at a time and they rotate every couple of days. Even tho I work there it took me nearly 2 weeks to see G-MCGZ after it was delivered

Thanks Phil, I'll bear that in mind in August...
Think we'll be staying down near Helston, near Culdrose, so I'll definitely be bringing the yanks up to Newquay/Padstow and will keep my fingers crossed.
I managed to get a walk round at Lydd couple of weekends ago, with Jargon and a few other lads, and managed to get both of the CG machines tucked up in their hangar...
Cheers Phil.

Lovely Phil, thank you, I'll be down there for three days work next week so hoping the weather bucks up a bit and I have time to squeeze in a couple of fields
