neede to go over to lincoln to pick a friend up so i thought i would go into wickenby . this place has changed unbelieveably, had a bacon butty and a coffee and it was so welcome .the staff were brilliant and i spent a great 1 and a half hours talking to some amazing people and saw some amazing aircraft.i asked if anyone could show me around and was told follow us we are going to move an aircraft which turned out to be G-AWIV STOREY TSR3 G-BHWA CESSNA 152 G-BHWB CESSNA 152 G-CCUZ THRUSTER T600N G-OMAL THRUSTER T600N G-BSRX CFM STREAK SHADOW G-MYEO P.QUASAR G-MYRS P.QUANTUM G-MZKS THRUSTER T600N G-OGOD P&M QUIK GT450 G-BYOV P,QUANTUM G-MYPN P.QUANTUM G-CCEY X-AIR 582 G-CCLS IKARUS C42 G-BTTY DENNEY KITFOX G-MWVL RANS S6 COYOTE G-MVIR THRUSTER TST G-CHTO RANS S7 COURIER G-SKEW CAP 232 G-IKUS IKARUS C42 G-EJWI F/D CTLS G-CGDH EUROPA XS WB697/G-BXCT DHC1 CHIPMUNK N113BP PIPER PA46 MALIBU G-BAEO CESSNA 172M
i then found the vintage skunk work hangar was open so i ventured over to see if i could see inside .i was met by the owner would started to tell me what was in there.i was not permitted to go inside but everything was visible WOW! Ann makes a great Bacon Butty If I had known you were going I could have asked a couple of friends who are based there to show you around the other hangars. I noticed you didnt log G-BHTC inside the skunk works, its in there having its mags sorted. Also next to the microlight hangar is the wreck of Ilyushin Il-2 Shturmovik G-BZVX www.airport-data.com/aircraft/photo/000971540.html

The wind is indicating that 09 will be in use, same as last year. The problem might be the early morning fog
