hi, visiting Squires Gate yesterday and in 1 of the hangar's were 2 fuselage frames, both similar they looked old build not modern frames, 1 had a skid on , both seemed to be two seater's, 1 had a couple of panels on and were white there also was a white cowl with 6 blue diamonds evenly spaced (colour scheme?)and a incomplete radial engine on a pallet. There was also a darkish blue cowl for a radial engine, near the other fuselage. The man showing me around didn't know anything about them and when I last visited last October they were not there, anyone know anything about them? also besides the above was a grey primed fuselage which looks reasonably complete, nose gear fitted no wings or engine and a cover over the c/pit, which last Oct. had a few instruments...
regards, dave...

hi, just a update in case anyone's interested, the fuselages, 1 is G-BIIZ a 1929 Great Lakes 2T-1A reputed to be unique in Europe, the 2nd fuselage is a donor, it has been registered to Airborne Adventures ltd. IOM 4/4/16, so hopefully it might be flying again in the future...

These are in the back right hand corner of Hangar 8, this is the large blue hangar behind ANT that was once Flight Academy. When I last went in there on 26th March 2017, G-RNCH PA28 was next to them on rebuild.
