When I was at the checkout and ready to pay for my groceries the cashier said, “Strip down, facing me."
Making a mental note so I could complain to my local MP about this security rubbish, I did just as she had instructed.
After the shrieking and hysterical remarks finally subsided, I found out that she was referring to how I should position my banking debit card.
Nonetheless, I've been asked to shop elsewhere in the future.
They need to make their instructions a little clearer.

Nice one Derek...the true ones are always the best !!
Reminds of a recent visit to my local garage for some fuel...at the Tesco Express till I put my card in as instructed only for the lady serving me to request !Can you shove it in a bit harder love " I of course replied...Blimey it's ages since a lady said that to me. She replied...Actually it's quite some time since I asked a bloke to do it love ! I then asked..I suppose you want me to pull it out now ? She replied...Afraid so love...all good things must come to an end...see you again soon !
