Hi Chaps sorry if there's a more appropriate board to post this question - I run the risk of the slippery slope of mis-posting, which may have done for me in the 'other' forum. Here goes.
i'm looking to post a general report from a morning spent at Kathmandu, Nepal a couple of weeks ago - purely for interest with a few holes in the discreet log I kept (security is generally alert & very suspicious).
Although I tried to post in the Worldwide / Anywhere Else board, I'm told that I can't, presumably due to settings by Admin. I seem OK to post elsewhere on the forum.
Appreciate any help or advice. TIA
Steve

Hi Steve and thanks for posting. As you have seen, we set up the Worldwide board some while ago with the intention of transferring all the existing reports and logs across to that sub forum, minus the comments and the like, which we would leave anyway on the existing sub forum. The idea was/is that the new sub forum would also contain valuable info such as best spotting hotels in those locations, rooms to book with runway views, multi storeys where spotting was allowed, and the like. Unfortunately, neither me, Jeff or Bill have done much more to it since setting it up and it has remained "locked". You can post your report here if that's OK?... aviationforall.proboards.com/board/164/airport-visits-worldPlease rest assured that NO-ONE here will EVER risk running down a slippery slope for anything, we are always grateful for all members' input and as far as we are concerned, this is a forum run for the members, and not, as on others, run for the convenience of the admin. Cheers Graham

Thanks for a quick reply Graham. Brilliant - will cobble together my notes and post as soon as I get my laptop charged. It was just a quick-n-dirty log while killing time transiting, but will at least give a bit of an exotic flavour. Took me back to my spotting days as a teenager. Thanks again.
