Usually a great event with all proceeds going to the local Air Ambulance, weather looks really good for this event and I have just checked their website which states that at the moment they have 71 aircraft booked in,this includes gyro's and microlights.
This one is on my doorstep, takes all of 5 mins to drive there (ok,10 at the most).

I will post a log later but a sad end to the proceedings when Tiger Moth DE470 (G-ANMY) crashed on take off hitting a parked car,the two occupants in the Tiger Moth walked away but a lady on the ground was hit by debris and was airlifted away by the Thames Valley Air Ambulance (G-TVAL) but thank goodness it appears that her injuries are not life threatening. At one stage the Tiger Moth was heading straight for a group of us but the pilot managed to steer clear.Airfield still closed when I left at 15.30 with about 70 aircraft visitors grounded at the moment.
More updates later.
