Great post Jeff, thanks. My first foreign holidays starting in 1970 as an 11-year old were courtesy of Clarksons and associated airline Court Line. Same Spanish resort 3 years in a row if I remember. Clear memories of Luton Airport and rows of pastel 1-11s. Travelled on most colours, but was too early in the numbers game to confirm regns. I remember one being 'Halcyon Eagle' (they were all Halcyon-somethings) but have never been able to tie up a reg. They used ex-British Eagle frames at the start, maybe one of them?
Also remember the 3rd Tristar during its demo tour of the U.K. Travelled all the way to EMA (no pretentious "N" then) to marvel at a 'wide-body'!!

There is a website named www.bac1-11jet.co.uk which lists all the 1-11's used by British airlines,I had a quick look under Court Line but could not find "Halcyon Eagle",the site however does list all reggies complete with name/colour worn.

Thanks very much David - a really great website. Not sure why that name stuck with me all these years, but I can't find it . Nothing mentions any lease-ins for the Summer seasons, so it'll remain a mystery. A few of the Halcyons ring bells, evoking some fond memories.
