Yippee! Nice to see us in a log. G-BALF! The Italian was I-9281, from memory. Sticks in the mind from radio calls whilst flying. Think the reg was under the wing.

Not a problem, Bob. To be fair, we do not seem to attract the camera lens although it is great to get a pic or two now and again...especially if I am flying. Not many of those around as usually I am taking pics...so plenty of the missus doing her stuff.
Do you recall the Gardan Horizon being refurbed in the very furthest hangar? We were captivated by some of the work being put into it but are damned if we can remember which one it was!

was that the aircraft in the service hangar behind the cherokee if it was i can,t help as it had been stripped right back to bare metal regards bob it could be G-TIMY as it had a bad landing out this year and it was at the side of the club hangar at coventry just after but has now gone ,just a thought. i am down south for a while yet so may catch you again and get a shot

That is the one. Swmbo looked at the plate but misremembered the reg. I was talking to one of the owners and got a bot sidetracked. Basically...we fluffed it!
Oh well...might be finished and flyable by October.

Morning Graham, I took a shot of BALFy at Oaksey when I called in on the 28th July. As mentioned, she was running up on the grass. IMG_8506 by Graham Brown, on Flickr

Logic suggests the Horizon was BYBL...although those are not the letters noted down from the plate by Swmbo.

Hi Graham(White Bear) and Bobby
G-TIMY was in the maintenance Hanger (on the front right as you look at the hanger) at Wellesbourne 23/07/16 . It still had its distinctive paint on then and I read the reg off.
Regards
John
