One for Admin I guess.....any reason known for suddenly being dumped off our glorious site? Had to go through the forgotten password route to return. Obviously doubt it is anything sinister but would like to know if this is a normal occurrence.
Being dumb...took me 3 days to realise that the red topic markers meant I was back to being a guest!!
One day, I might meet the 21st Century!

Hi Graham,
Haven't spoken to the chaps yet but just checked your membership and your original start date (26Jan15) is still current, so that is all in still valid and operating... I'll do a bit more research but I'd say that proboards may have been tinkering behind the scenes which may have prevented your usual access for a brief period... Don't know for sure - that's just me surmising...
Anyway I'll talk to the guys ASAP...
Thanks for letting us know.

Hi Graham
Just double checked and Bill is 100% correct - you still show as having joined in January 2015 and all your previous posts are there to be seen so to be quite honest, I have no idea why you weren't able to log on. There are known sporadic issues of compatability between Proboards and Apple products - I know jerryrowe has intermittent issues with his ipad when trying to log on, but that's not confined to AFA, it seems to manifest itself across all the 1000s of different Proboard forums. Proboards techies are usually very quick to sort these issues out, if you are indeed using an Apple product? If you aren't then I really can't give an answer I'm afraid as I simply don't know.
If the issue returns then please let one of us three know so that we can lodge the details with the Support forum
Many thanks Graham

Yes....access mainly via ipad. It has happened again so have had to log on with password just now. Might be something to do with the shortcut icon thing on the ipad so I will try to set up a new one...not that I find the ipad as intuitive as it is made out to be. Has been OK from inception until 3 days ago.
Sorry for bothering you with it, chaps...but ultimately, it might help understanding any others' intermittent problems.

Hi Graham, don't worry about bothering us, without members logging in and taking the time to post, we don't have a forum! Could I ask, do you log out every time you've finished your stint here? If so, then you will be prompted for your log in name and password as any of us would, whether we were on Apple, or anything else.
As I am the only person who ever uses my laptop, I never log out, and as such, can return to the forum multiple times during any given period and the forum "remembers" me.
