As reported, G-DOCO departed on Friday morning back to Gatwick. G-OSRB should also have positioned up to Manchester on Friday for re-painting in the Oil Spill Response colours, but due tech problems, it departed this morning. ASK-21 self launching glider D-KGHI was operating out of Lasham this afternoon according to FR24.

Just a reminder that there are two webcam situated at Lasham, not brilliant views, but I find the weather info very useful. www.lashamweather.co.uk/Second reminder that guided tours of the Gliding Museum take place every Sunday afternoon, meeting point is the sundial outside the club house at 14:00. A donation to their funds is asked for and a 'free' car journey normally via the ATC site (without stopping) occurs. The museum is the other side of the runway from the club house and their web site is www.glidingheritage.org.uk/visits.htm

I have a few photos that I took today that I will upload tomorrow. Spice Jet in N- reg. Typical Buster style! If you are not too careful, I will post the 'The Best of Buster' images that I posted on the previous forum! After all, Mr Best has copied me ever since!

With G-BMKD being very active today, I guess the radar must be working for SRA practice?

I understand Mike Brewer and his team were on the airfield today filming an episode of Wheeler Dealers.

Sat nibbling a Costco pizza before heading home I noticed a BA 734 DOCF seemingly inbound to Lasham at circa 12:30 ish, I think.

VQ-BAB is over Denmark as LLM9303 Not quite. Still East of Sweden at 10.15 . . Estimated arrival time 12.30/45? 12.45 exactly. After a coffee in the Clubhouse I went looking for VQ-BBT, and couldn't see VQ-BAB from either gate . . Maybe I wasn't looking hard enough, but it might be tricky to spot.

Stiff westerly wind, so probably. Was viewing on a tiny mobile phone screen, so pretty close, it was Scandinavia.

G-DOCF was on the 09 threshold with an Ikar B757 at lunchtime today. That's funny, so was I. Did you see a black Porsche? From the A339, unless it was a Porsche double decker bus, no chance!

That reminds me, has the SF Airlines flown the nest? Haven't seen any posts about it, so I was just wondering.
