A toss up between the Heads Up link or this one, so hope I chose wisely.
A comment on a social media page suggests that the above Cathay 744 is expected at approx 1030 from Manchester. I assume its fate will ultimately match that of previous Cathay machines.
just for info.

Always a pleasure Graham. Sorry my contributions won't earn me many gold stars - my main interests are defunct heavy commercial airframes, freighters and unusual overseas , and as Kemble and the likes are more effectively (and frequently) covered by others better placed than I, I do struggle to be original!! Still, will always chip in where I can,

visability bad at the moment has been put back but there is supposed to be another due in november as well regards bob Great Bob , thanks. B-HUI and B-HUJ were the last remaining ex-Cathay passenger 744s at Hong Kong, following a fairly high-profile withdrawal from service. The others have been previously been flown to worldwide destinations for part-out. With 'HUI now on the tarmac at Manchester and eventually on its way, suspect that B-HUJ will be the other in November UPDATE ** No arrival today due to adverse weather conditions at Bruntingthorpe. Social media reports revised ETA a.m. Monday 31.10 Potential ETD from Manchester 1000L

All contributions are always most welcome Steve! The forum wouldn't function unless its members took the time and trouble to post.

...and it was showing on the radar when I was in Birmingham yesterday, came quite close to where I was , so assume it has joined its sister ship.
