Does anyone plan to spend any of their Christmas Day plane spotting at @heathrowairport? If you do, please let @bbclondonnews know!

The last few years, my late father & I have spent Christmas day with my sister & her hubby bat Ashford, staying at a nearby hotel. Last year, for the first time, I chanced a walk down the road to where a bit of LHR could be viewed from. I bagged a few of BA's A380s & 787s. plus a 'Germanwings' A320 on take-off. It was the first time I bagged anything on Xmas day!

I have been unable to find out what this BBC item is about. I have spent the last two Xmas's at Heathrow. But I shall not be telling the BBC my plans for this Xmas. Just for information I was at Edinburgh Airport a couple of years ago at the time a fire engine tipped over on the tarmac. I was pestered by a cameraman for details about seeing the accident and pictures. He wanted a good scoop /picture. I did not have a picture and only saw the aftermath. I told him to go away by using very impolite terms. Les
