As I was working in Wincanton, it wasn't too much farther down the A303 to Yeovilton so went around the back by the church and spent about 45 mins there. Several Merlins on the deck but all were too far away to ID even with the long lens. Similarly, there were three Wildcats parked directly nose on to me outside the hangars and it was impossible to get a fix on those as well. However, others were more obliging and I made the following

Then back to Salisbury where I popped into Old Sarum before sending 20 minutes in a layby on the A345 watching stuff in the circuit over B Down and made the following
