An unusual sight this afternoon, Beluga F-GSTF overhead Newbury direct from Chester. I've never seen one route this way before and this was the first one I've seen in fact. DSC00422 by keith harbor, on Flickr

Keith I posted two photos of this Beluga landing at Hawarden. Post date was 29/09/16. Hawarden has one or two Belugas almost daily. If you get to visit Hawarden go to the business park, sign in at the gate and proceed to the Chocks Away cafe for good food and views. Les

Hi Keith
I saw that as well, and you are right the Beluga's never seem to come this far east on their way south, I've seen only one maybe two before.
I was sweating on it as well because it was only at 31k, would it trail? Thankfully it did.
Regards
John

Morning guys,
I also saw the Beluga trailing going south - was watching my youngest son playing hockey at Woking (they lost in the last minute - beaten by Basingstoke!!) but did you guys see the Canadian AF C-130J just behind it, 130605, which wasn't trailing... I only needed the Beluga...
