Reports that the Admiral Kuznetsov has lost an SU-33 after the arrestor cable broke on landing, it failed to stop the jet which skidded on the deck before going over the side. Apparently a MiG-29 was also lost a few days ago. www.rt.com/news/369209-admiral-kuznetsov-su-33/

Interesting that the Mig29 ditched through lack of fuel rather than divert to Cyprus, especially as the Russians are supposed to be gaining facilities there ere long.
