That's a very nice start Keith. South Africa via Dubai sounds like a bit of a trek, was that what you wanted, or was it flight times and the like?

It was about £250 per person cheaper than direct flights and Emirates is a good airline to fly with. The time at Dubai was a bonus for me especially as our gate overlooked the runway in use so I could see everything taxiing out and landing stuff taxiing in right in front of the terminal. We are on safari for three days then we fly to Port Elizabeth so I'm hoping for enough time to get up on the viewing deck before we fly and take some shots.
