It's just about a month now ( January 22nd) since we went live here. In that time, I believe we have already achieved our two main goals which were to develop a friendly and useful site regardless of how much or how little anyone wished to participate. We now have 171 members who have between them started well over 700 threads and have posted in excess of 3200 posts. We have 90 sub forums here, of which only three have no entries. One is the ACARS log sub forum so I think we will let that one quietly go. The only other two are the "airshows photo" sub forum which is no surprise as it isn't airshow season yet anyway, and surprisingly the London City sub forum, but we will keep that one going.
Whilst fiddling around in the settings earlier, I found the "participated" option, a tab for which is now on the top row of the blue navigation bar. If you click on that, it will list all your recent posts and replies on every thread you've contributed to. If this is useful then we will keep it there, if not, then it's no great shakes ro remove it.
We have begun to display members' photos in the top banner - each one stays there for 2-3 days so if one of yours hasn't made it yet, rest assured that we will do our best to include everyone. The standard of the photography here is fabulous, so choosing the banner shot takes a bit of time.
So, a big thank you to everyone for making AviationforAll a success and big thank yous too to Jeff and Bill for taking on the roles of Global Moderators.

Could not agree more Bob, as you say, the Forum gets better by the day!!!!! All due to Graham, Jeff and Bill. Sounds a bit corny, but with this Forum I am always viewing, much much more than another Forum, run by you know who, 'can't put it down' so to speak-Derrick

Thanks guys, rest assured we are still fiddling in the background...... Its still very much an ongoing project. As Graham says, this is your forum, so anything you want added feel free to let us know and we will do our best to include it in some way or another, of course if theres anything you feel is not working with the format again Let us know :-)

Don't worry tarnish, there will definitely be the widest selection of shots on the banner. As Jeff says, we have very limited title option - left, centre and right, nothing else I'm afraid
