Hello all
for anyone interested, there is a rare chance of a visit to Predannack on Wed 15th Feb.
Here are the details straight from their Facebook page
Predannack Visit On Wednesday 15th February we will be offering a rare opportunity to visit Predannack Airfield. Predannack opened in 1941 as an RAF base, but today is the satellite airfield to RNAS Culdrose - it is a restricted MOD site and an active airfield used daily for flying training and also provides our Fire Fighting training facility.
We are offering 50 places on this visit which will provide a coach tour of the airfield and it's Dispersal's, a supervised walk through the Ground Training Airframes and the chance to view a fire fighting demonstration. There may also be a stop outside the ATC Tower to coincide with the airfield opening and the first aircraft arriving. (These items may subject to change on the day due to serviceability and environmental conditions). For further information and to book a place, please email; navycu-execprpra@mod.uk or navycu-execprcro@mod.uk or telephone 01326 552450.
