Too much posted elsewhere means that I can now post this.
This year's TSP of F-15C/Ds from 123FS/142FW/Oregon ANG are scheduled to arrive at Lakenheath tomorrow. They are rumoured to be staying for "a while" (two weeks) before moving on elsewhere in Europe.
Currently 8 aircraft are at Westover ARB, Ma and "GOLD91" the tanker KC-10A 84-0188 is at Bangor IAP, Me. Serials are not yet known. They were originally also accompanied by "GOLD81" KC-10A 79-1710, but this turned back over Wisconsin and returned to Travis AFB, Ca. (maybe to pick up another 4 today?).
Shanwick NOTAM is now published for the crossing:-
From the above, it looks as if tanker(s) from Mildenhall will go out to meet them at 30W.
The early commencement time is, of course, for the Mildenhall Tanker(s) to start on TR2 on their way out to meet them.
Earliest F-15 arrival time (big guesstimate by me) would be, say, 15.15Z onwards.
Give yourself plenty of time!!!

Tuesday 28th February
"GOLD92" KC-135T 58-0094 [AE0360] has departed Mildenhall to meet up at 30W.
"GOLD91" KC-10A 84-0188 [AE021B] plus 6 chicks are on their way. At 09.55Z they are plotting just off the SW coast of Nova Scotia, heading NE.
Update:- No sign of "GOLD81" departing the West coast with the remainder today. So wouldn't expect any more to cross before Friday - unless they send the remaining two across by themselves and abandon the other four.

All ex Bitburg based from years ago according to my records, still it would be nice to get some photos if I can get up there. Hopefully the next batch might have some rarer ones amongst them. Hope the holiday is going well 👍 Cheers Mark

Thanks, Mark. Having a lovely time. Too many trees around the house to see anything, though - hence missed the Moroccan Gulfstream this morning. Of course, it had clouded over by the time it departed.
I've only seen the FY80 F-15C (at Alconbury back in 1982), but I gave up in 1984 after the Mildenhall Fete, so missed out on any later FYs. I'm hoping that I can get them in September/October when they go back.
I see that Scramble are (still) saying that these will not go on via Leeuwarden for Frisian Flag and that they are still expecting LA and FL ANGs for that. I think they are wrong in that it is always the TSP deployment that goes to FF and this is the TSP. In any case, I can't see yet another F-15C deployment to Europe being on the cards so soon.
Cheers,
Bob

Wednesday 1st March 2017
"GOLD81" KC-10A 79-1710 [AE01DC] has hacked all the way across from Travis to be joined (en route) by the two remaining F-15s from Westover.
10.23Z Currently refuelling at FL260 over Nova Scotia.
Not surprisingly, "GOLD82" has been stood down as being not required - would have been the subject of TR2 in the NOTAM.

It would appear they are not staying long after all. 4 attempted to depart to Souda this morning but had to turn back as the French wouldn't allow them access to their airspace! I daresay they will have another go asap Cheers Mark

Looks like the LA/FLs must be coming over, after all - if Scramble are correct about their being at Frisian Flag. Next week/week after next??

Certainly does mate, yes. I think probably the week after though there is nothing to say they will go through the Heath! (By the way the Turkish at Hurn was visible in the hangar today as they had the doors open but that's the first time since arrival). Cheers Mark

It would appear that the Oregons are now departing Tuesday.

And the Oregons F-15s are back. This time at Mildenhall - parked by the tower.
Departure probably tomorrow as a NOTAM is up. A guess would be 10.45 - 11.00 British Summer Time. So don't forget to put your clocks forwards by 1hr tonight.

After a somewhat longer delay - needing a new ALTRV - most of them got away
KC-10s "BLUE61" 79-1947 [AE020D] and 86-0036 "BLUE71" [AE022D] were doing the donkey work, leaving the two KC-135s behind.
Two of the F-15Cs have "gone tech" (84-0003 and 84-0026).
The ones that departed were (in order of take-off):- 84-0005
84-0021 84-0020 80-0024 84-0002 82-0016
