Noted during a steady day last Monday, the 6th, 1130 - 1530:
QQ100 A109 flying QQ101 RJ-100 flying QQ103 DA-42 flying
XX449 Gazelle flying XZ731 "311" Lynx HMA.8SRU towed from southside hangar, then returned ZB625 Gazelle flying ZE416 A109 flying ZF558 "336" Lynx HMA.8SRU towed from southside hangar, then returned ZH829 "NL" Merlin, towed from southside hangar, then returned ZH858 Merlin, towed from southside hangar ZJ647 Alpha Jet, main ramp ZJ651 Alpha Jet, flying ZZ526 Wildcat, missed approach 1510 "Recon 21" on SBS
N304VS Learjet 25G flying
Also in the southside rotary hangar:
Chinook, maybe a HC6A conversion, pulled out 1400, then returned. Amongst the other Merlins in the Hangar, there was one with "HMS (long name)" on the nose cone, possibly HMS Northumberland? Any ideas?!
Also seen to the West, in the distance, operating low level over the Plain, was Hercules ZH874 "RRR212" (from SBS).
Cheers DC

Hi DC,
Your Merlin with the long ship's name was probably ZH852 - which had been coded "NL-505".
Cheers,
Bob
