Morning all,
Today was the start of the Miami International Boat Show so we knew that biz jet will be increasing so a visit was needed but not before a look in at Fort Lauderdale Executive because we were told that the expected traffic for the boat show uses airports right up to West Palm Beach. With this in mind we toured the nooks and crannies at Executive and came away with another 38 biz with the following non N reg examples:
CC-AME 125-800XP
C6-AIP Citation 560 Ultra
PR-SFB Falcon 2000
YV2477 125-800B (I have a feeling that we had seen this on a previous visit but couldn't locate it in my log book).
The following non N reg non biz were also seen:
HK-4671G King Air 200
PR-SYS King Air 200
YV1587 Cessna 402C
YV2958 King Air 200
Miami took about 30 mins to get to and we decided to go to the biz jet area first and it was already filling up and aircraft were being moved around to allow more aircraft to be parked, when this area is full they usually park aircraft by one of the cargo areas at the end of the runway where the mobile phone holding area, this is also opposite the Martin Baker collection of aircraft.Thank God that they hadn't reached this stage yet.Biz traffic was steady all day and we left with another 77 in the book with the following non N reg examples:
C-FSBC Citation 650
C-GCIX 125-800XP
C-GDTD Challenger 850
D-ACBN A319CJ
XA-BAE Citation X
XA-MET Lear Jet 25D
The airliner traffic was as varied as ever which did include my first ever Avianca A318's N591EL and N597EL,also one interesting aircraft outside the hangars was 272 B707 Israeli Air Force.
We left when it got dark ready to go to West Palm Beach again the following day.
Part 12 to follow.
