Hi Everyone, I have just registered on the site. I was flying during the 1980's mostly at Biggin Hill and Blackbushe, with some memorable additional trips. I got my PPL in 1984, probably one of the happiest moments in a very busy life. (My name was Rogers then). Now mostly retired from flying, I live near Kemble where we get to see quite a lot of unusual visitors. I have never stopped being interested in aeroplanes and aviation. Hope to get up to speed on this forum. Thank You

Thank You Welcome Janf, You sound like you have an interesting past, we have one Peter Brown on AFA who has a massive history surrounding Blackbushe and continues in his quest to keep BBS alive and kicking (in an aviation sense). He is actually the driving force behind both last years show there and the forthcoming BBS 75th anniversary air show... So please do keep an eye out for his weekly updates and if you feel up to volunteering over the weekend just click on the BBS link at the top of the opening page. We also have some very active members who cover Kemble. They keep us all up-to-date with all the comings, and mainly scrapping, of the commercial stuff there. So please feel free to add any news from there... If you need to ask any questions then please ask either myself or Graham and Jeff, we all look after AFA and one of us is always around. We all love a photo or two so if you have any, particularly of the mature type, please load them - there are some tremendous collections on here. Cheers Janf. Bill
