While at Tatenhill I went on an escorted hangar tour at the far end of the airfield - where several hangars were opened for those present to wander around ).

Bob We knew about the fly-in but while we were there two members asked us if we wanted to go down to the hangars. About 20 people walked down to the hangars where the members opened most of them for us to enter. Les

Bob I tend to check "Flyer Forum" or just check on Internet by typing "Airfield Fly-ins". Les

I popped in to this fly in for around 90 mins, very pleasant time spent, including a nice veggie burger and coffee! I didn't know about the hangar access but I've seen many of those in the open over the years but not all. It's been a while since I dropped by Tatenhill but it's very accommodating and tolerant of casual spotters. On the day I added 22 to my personal list. Some of these will show how long it's been since my last visit!
