Sunday 15th Feb 2015
When we were at West Palm Beach on Friday 13th we were joined by an American spotter who stated that in his experience that the Sunday would be busier than normal with the President's day weekend generating more traffic than a normal Sunday does and so it turned out,but first the now customary look in at Fort Lauderdale Executive to see what if any new biz had arrived.
36 biz were entered into the log book with the following 6 non N reg examples:
LV-CPL Lear Jet 60 PP-BBL Citation 560XLS PP-LFS Falcon 2000 YV1192 Citation 550-II YV2661 Lear Jet 35A YV3057 Beechjet 400
Also noted was VP-CPC a Pilatus PC 12
Decided to drive straight to West Palm Beach and like Friday we spotted from the Hilton Hotel car park,it was very busy especially with the biz but the airliner traffic was also busy as well.Because we hadn't ventured to the top of the MSCP on our last visit we decided that we would this time once the heat haze had died down. What a view when we got there, biz parked everywhere.I think we logged virtually everything that we could see and the final log for biz was a staggering 231.
The following 10 non N reg were new to us but there were others that we had logged on previous visits:
C-FJGG Lear Jet 60 C-FSEP Challenger 605 C-GCMP Lear Jet 45XR C-GDIL Challenger 300 C-GJKI Citation 560XL C-GPMW Citationjet 525B C-GROG 125-850XP D-AFSX Falcon 7X PR-TLC Legacy 650 XA-AEA Citation 560XLS
Also noted were:
C6-ACS Cessna 208 Caravan C6-NIX PA-23 Aztec 250
Nothing outstanding on the airliner front but today was the first time we actually saw an Allegiant A320 Flying N215NV.
The cargo area held one aircraft N150UP A300F UPS
Part 16 to follow.
