This covers Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th.
This is the last bit (thank God I hear you say) and covers Fort Lauderdale Executive,West Palm Beach,Toronto Lester B.Pearson and Heathrow the following day.
When we booked this trip we decided to go back via Toronto as it enabled us to return to London on an Air Canada B787 but more about that later.
As usual after checking out we had a quick look into Fort Lauderdale Executive and 19 more biz went into the book, just the two non N reg aircraft this morning:
C-GMRO Lear Jet 45
M-SQAR Gulfstream 550
Also noted was PR-EAE a very big chopper and was all white so maybe doesn't appear officially yet.
Straight upto West Palm Beach to drop the hired car off and then upto the top of the MSCP for about 45mins to an hour where another 21 biz hit the book but only one non N reg was noted:
C-FNJT Lear Jet 45
All too soon it was time for Air Canada A321 C-GIUE to whisk us off to Toronto and to see the vast amount of snow and frozen lakes and rivers was a stark contrast to the Florida sunshine. The one great thing about Toronto was the minimum of fuss endured when we landed, they had two people asking passengers if Toronto was their final destination or if they had internal connections or international connections, when we said we were flying onto London we were whisked through a secure gate into passport control and within a few minutes we were at the end of a pier spotting, brilliant. Our flight to London was not until nearly midnight and with the help of FR24 we logged shed loads of Canadians,it was just a shame that a lot of the biz arrivals went unidentified although four did land on the runway we were monitoring as it was the closest to our departure gate.

Just before midnight we boarded AC858 C-GHPT B787 for the trip home to London.I must say I'm impressed with the 787,the seats were very comfortable and I've not had so much legroom since I flew with Qatar in 2008.The mood lighting on board was great and I loved how the windows changed from dark to light and back again depending on the conditions outside, all in all a very enjoyable flight.
Landed at Heathrow at 12.15 and three went into the book:
B-KPL B777 Cathay Pacific
G-VOOH B787 Virgin Atlantic
5Y-KZE B787 Kenyan
So ended a fantastic trip with brilliant weather (apart from one very wet morning) an I dread to think how many biz I may have made. The airliner traffic was down on previous visits but I believe that most of that was down to the terrible weather they had in the northern states.
I hope you have enjoyed my ramblings and have given you a small idea of what can be seen if you have never been to Florida. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to help.
