Its not very nice when you hear of an aircraft accident and its even worse when you know the aircraft and people involved. My good friend Mick Ward had a landing incident at his strip at Willow Farm where the aircraft finish up inverted. Luckily Mick and his passenger were not seriously hurt, but Mick has been kept in hospital. I have had the pleasure of flying with Mick on several occasions and have done a few air 2 air photos shoots with BTFK. Today is Mick's birthday, so happy Birthday and get well soon mate. plane-comes-to-rest-on-roof-after-crash-in-field

Good to hear your friends are safe, and let's hope they, and TFK are airborne again before too long. I saw this lovely old Taylorcraft at the Tatenhill fly in last month.

Indeed it's good to know that everyone survived the incident, and if *FK is repairable so much the better. I last saw *FK at a Popham fly-in only a year or two ago.

Sadly, BTFK was damaged beyond economical repair. The airframe has been sold on to another Taylorcraft owner to be used as a parts supply.
