Our normally accurate friends at Skyliner report it routing BQH -EGTC on the 27th "..for part out & scrap". As Cranfield seems to handle all specialist 146/RJ movements, suspect that the work will be undertaken there before transportation to Hurn? Pure speculation on my part, but may be a candidate for dismantling and sections sent to Hurn for the limited space in the museum. That is if it's intended as an exhibit at all... Time for a lie down...

Just checked with someone at Bournemouth museum. It was supposed to be going there, but would have had to have been dismantled to get it across to the museum. Because of this, and even though it would have been reassembled, it is now probably going to go to Norwich instead.

There seems to be a bit of a strange and sad story to this one...
To get the aircraft into either Bournemouth or Norwich museums, the aircraft would have to be initially part dismantled, which the owners didn't want.
So, it's been flown to Cranfield instead where it'll probably end up being scrapped, because the owners didn't want it dismantled...!
Make sense of that...
