Not sure if anyone has been recently, but through work I pop in here quite regularly and I thoroughly recommend a visit for a cuppa or something. The cafe at Redhill looks out onto the Apron. (Similar to Fairoaks but better) Usually quite a few helis on show apart from the fixed wing stuff. Most movements can be seen whilst sitting on the veranda outside the cafe. You can also see LGW movements in the distance as well (weather providing of course) When the weather is fine this is an excellent place to while away the hours. The best bit is, to access the public toilets you need to go through the hanger full of aircraft. Never mind eh!
