Two Mustang incidents Flying Legends 8th and 9th July

N515ZB P.51B 'Berlin Express' had an incident in the flying display at Duxford today.
Apparently, the canopy (or part of) detached and struck the tail.


Fortunately, pilot landed safely.

The aircraft was due to fly at RIAT next week.

A second Mustang, Miss Velma, G-TFSI, appears to have crash-landed in a field at Legends today!

Again, pilot believed to be ok!
