Hi Graham
As said in my joining message I have also joined the other new forum. Its being run by Andrew Harkin, Ken Lipscombe who were on the old list.David Fogwill has also joined them in running it.Currently has 169 members same lines as this list.Plus plenty of members from the old list and I suspect lots who are now on both like me!!!

So Tonys new site will consist of Tony and maybe his goldfish! Unless his goldfish has feelings of course.

Looks like the "old forum" is back up. But i can not see Peter Brown's posts There are some on the Blackbushe thread if you scroll through. I notice none of our administrators are in the Members list, though.

Yes, it is, and personally, after doing what he did last week, I hope no one takes him up on it. He's just as likely to start mucking about with it again, or even waiting for all us lot to go back, and then closing it again as a final gesture of defiance. Maybe Peter Brown has asked him for the Blackbushe thread or maybe Tony is just hanging onto it for whatever reason. But that was the magnet for many of the posters on that forum and it wouldn't be the same without it

Well, I tried to log back on to delete all my posts as I have a considerable number of photos and logs on there and don't see why Tony should get the benefit from them but it seems he has removed my account, probably because I criticised him on his Farnborough Facebook page just after he pulled the plug. Just bear in mind that if anyone here IS still allowed access, then that's an option that is open to you should you wish to register a protest at the way we were all treated last week.
I see I have a zero post count on the old FAB forum so presumably, my posts and everything have been deleted.

I notice that BOH thread has been removed !! Wonder why ?
Also although many of my old posts still remain (as do many of yours Graham) e.g. Lasham and Southampton etc...yet I am denied access
I wonder what happened to the thousands of photos I posted over 5 years and posts re "paint shop" before that...down the preverbial
Thanks Tony and good luck to all who join him

Hi Graham,I'm sticking with you buddy (and it's not because you are an old school pal). With regards to Tony opening up his forum again how long will it be before he throws his toys out of the pram again and shuts it down?

Exactly Dave, and who would risk it? The bloke changes his mind every five minutes. Why would anyone, after his last fit of pique, post anything that might disappear the next day? Good to have you here with us all Dave

Well, I will kindly ask him to delete every contribution of mine (amongst all the crap)... Whether he will or not is another kettle of fish. All the time and effort just gone like that, almost laughable Dylan

Yep I'm sticking here too! I don't like how Tony's forum is run. Current moderators should be informed and be able to make an agreement with the admin about deleting peoples threads. If that agree to the thread starter.
Anyway carrying on the forum appearance topic I was wondering if you are able to change the theme background colour? If you have access to the CSS (style)of the theme, can you search for #banner and where it says background-color: #006cb7; I think it would look nicer if the background is the same colour as the photo background. So replace it to this background-color: #659ed5;.
You're probably not sure what I am talking about, but I can do it myself if have the specific writes for about 10mins.
Attached is what it would look like. But its just a thought.

Hi JP, yes we are working around the CCS, there are plans for the top picture so it wont really matter what the background colour is thanks for offering though

Thanks Bob, we're still fiddling with it, trying to get rid of that blue box on the left within the header that takes up room we'd like the photo to fill up.

Nice to see Janet, but the title area is really too large......It would never have been allowed on a previous forum!

Nice to see Janet, but the title area is really too large......It would never have been allowed on a previous forum! Strange thing is it looks different on my works PC to my Home PC for some reason, works the Janet is far right which leaves a border of Blue down the left that allows the logo to float in open space, on the home PC the Janet is centre with blue borders both left and right which in turn puts the logo across the nose of the 737 !!
