October, the clocks go back an hour, plunging the country into darkness and the kids bang on the front doors demanding a treat or else. The supermarkets fill up with Christmas goods and we all realise that once again, we are into the final quarter of yet another year.

Seems like we should learn today whether the 2 Qatar A320s at Stansted will be needed to rescue Monarch passengers.

Lovely start to the day meant fully twelve had been added by 10.30, then the customary cloud rolled in with occasional breaks allowing a few more, 18 for the day. That I can do this from home with the support of radar apps is still a source of wonder and novelty for me.

Not been a great start to the month, haven't made a single one since the 1st.
To add insult to injury, just missed a pair of RAFO Typhoons on delivery.

Hi Guys,
Spent a few hours at Biggin yesterday, Lookout cafe still in excellent working order, but the weather could have been a bit better - but equally a lot worse! Also, just a piece of general information, there are plans afoot to build a new hotel which will be built between the Looout and the Signature hangar - so expect some changes when that happens.... Some of the stuff featured here was transiting through the overhead or going in/out of London City... All marked.
