Bearing in mind the state of the weather down there today I really did not expect to see this pair flying, purposely but somewhat crabwise, they either came off the sea or I guess from the east? along the coast and turned up.
Does anyone happen to know what they were??
Thanks
Regards
John

John,
The only Chinook entries that I can find on Albert's website www.live-military-mode-s.eu/ are for "RFR7165" ZH895 at 14.19 (sharer in Midhurst) and 14.26 (sharer in Thatcham). These would appear to fit your sighting.
Sadly only the one airframe appears.
Cheers,
Bob
