A very recent article fills out a lot of detail on the current and planned futures of the first A380, (9V-SKA), to be stored engineless at Lourdes. As the article states, the engine-lease deal with Rolls Royce may buy the aircraft time, or may be a prelude to its scrapping. Think first 1 is earmarked for hifly, this is an early heavy version. Its the next 4 that come off lease that are the ones BA are looking at. Wouldn't mind putting money on them operating in a high density fig operating out of LGW on bucket and spade routes IF they get them
