Several people are feared dead after a mid-air collision between a helicopter and a plane over Buckinghamshire.
Wreckage from both aircraft is believed to have landed in the estate grounds of Waddesdon Manor, near Aylesbury, on Friday afternoon.
At least seven fire appliances, including three urban search emergency vehicles, were sent to the scene along with six fire officers who also launched the fire brigade drone to look for any survivors.
Staff from the Waddesdon Estate - which is managed by the Rothschild Foundation on behalf of the National Trust - helped direct emergency vehicles to the scene as police erected a large cordon.
Staff from the Air Accident Investigation Branch (AAIB) were also sent to the area, but police said the priority is being placed on saving lives.
Sources said that it was believed there were multiple casualties, including fatalities. Both aircraft came from Wycombe Air Park, near High Wycombe.

WACG was Booker based I believe, at least that's where I logged her last year. Such a tragedy and so close to the Festive Season too.

WACG was Booker based I believe, at least that's where I logged her last year. Such a tragedy and so close to the Festive Season too. A very long term Booker resident. In the 1980's / 1990s and into the 2000s, there was a whole fleet of, mainly Cessna 152 / 172s operated by 'Wycombe Air Centre' which had G-WAC* registrations, with a couple of PA28s & Beech 76s thrown in for good measure!
