Thanks for posting Mark. Always appreciate updates on stored / part-out airframes (my particular interest).
Certainly tempted to make the long haul up from the south coast. To make it a worthwhile trip, perhaps you could help with a couple of questions please?
Are the other ex-KLM F70s parked on the field? (Reports of PH-KZL, KZM and KZW also present)
is dumped ex-Alitalia A321. I-BIXE still present?
is stored ERJ170. ES-AEB still present?
Finally, there were recent reports of two scrap / part-out ex-Belgian RJs, now G-CKIR and G-CKKA.
Are any or all of the above still stored or dumped elsewhere on the field? Thanks.
Your welcome
ok here we go
All the former Fokker 70s KLM are with us at NWI
PH-KZU is in the paint shop becoming Polar (White)
PH-KZL departed for Kus Airways Cyprus the other day again White
Only one 70 remains in KLM livery and i try grab her tommorow, rest are now Polar (white )
ERJ170 ES-AEB has long gone i'm afraid, think via the Axe man,
we do have TC-YAL though which is intact minus engine or anything to hang them on
A321 I-BIXE is well in the scrap area and i could see her tail today so still standing i would guess
All the former Brussels RJs have gone via the Axe Man G-CKIR, G-CKKA
it seems that had to be UK reg before scrapping so they came under UK legal requirements
EI-WXB only RJ remaining other then the Lamia
will see what can get tommorow
cheers
