Morning all
Now the silly season is almost upon us, we often start to get spam posts. Most of it, as with the two posts left this morning in Chinese which have been deleted and the person blocked, are harmless as such and pose no threat to the forum or any of us individually. But please, if any spam post contains a link of any description, please, do NOT click on the link under any circumstances. These links often contain spyware, Trojan horses and other types of PC "nasties". There has been an incident where a forum has been wiped out because a member inadvertently and innocently clicked on a link resulting in some type of "worm" erasing all the posts.
We can't as such prevent these spammers, but we can make sure we don't play into their hands so please guys, don't click on any links no matter how wonderful the goods or services on offer may appear to be.
Many thanks
Graham, Jeff & Bill
